I tended to ignore the "ATI" part of my title, since I was really hired to implement the campus' WCMS. Or so I thought.
ATI is a mandated program to insure that all university Web sites meet Section 508 compliance. I'm cool with that, but it's taken over my life. WCMS? I've forgotten what it even means anymore.

Are you sure I'm on the outside?
ha ha ha....oh man! I know exactly how you feel.
Great post. Just great.
BTW, it seems like I've seen your html programmer cartoon before. Did you use him on another blog? I can't place it and it's driving me crazy...
Susan,
They were free 'monster' icons I downloaded. One of them has shown up around the internet in various places and forms.
Lou Rosenfeld used a graphic including this monster in a recent presentation on redesign: (www.slideshare.net/lrosenfeld/redesign-must-die-381947/)
You not alone Tony! *sniff* That was boo-ti-ful in its pain.
Hilarious. And a bit too close to the bone.
But I'm really posting to hopefully help Susan -- maybe you are thinking of Domo-kun, the mascot for NHK (Japan's national TV station). The little programmer is pretty similar.
Hope you're feeling less frustrated now!

You're not quite making a good case for me there. Funny, though :)
